Why we made it
Cocktail & Party Picks, the Mobi Lock way
A pick is the smallest thing on the table and somehow the one guests remember. The olive on a gold pearl top, the tiny umbrella in a rum punch, the row of flags on the sliders the night of the match. We keep the drawer full of every style, all cut from bamboo that is stiffer than birch and does not splinter into the cheese.
Counts run from thirty umbrellas for a small dinner to three thousand plain picks for the caterer who never wants to count again. The 4.7-inch styles reach the bottom of a martini glass; the 2.5-inch ones are made for canapés, cupcakes and one-bite things.
